COMPASSION IN THE COMMUNITY
“We must learn to regard people less in light of what they do or omit to do and more in the light of what they suffer.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
The mission of Compassion Endodontics is to compassionately care for those who are suffering with dental disease and pain. We believe everyone is worthy of compassion. Not only do we want to care for the people that come into our office, but also the community of Reading at large. Therefore, to show compassion to the community, we are partnering with Hope Rescue Mission.
Hope Rescue Mission has been in Reading for over 125 year as a refuge for men struggling with addiction, homelessness and unemployment. Their goal is to shine a light into the lives of those experiencing dark times. They do this by not only providing for physical needs, but for caring for the whole person- spirit, soul and body. They do this with the utmost respect and compassion.
Because Compassion Endodontics and Hope Rescue Mission share the same values, Compassion Endodontics has pledged that for every root canal performed, a man experiencing homelessness is sheltered overnight and fed three meals in an Emergency Shelter Program.
